Meet Devika Brij Maurice
Devika Brij Maurice is a speaker, author, and leadership strategist whose work brings together biblical wisdom, organizational leadership expertise, and a commitment to equipping people to lead and live with purpose.
Before founding Brij the Gap Consulting, Devika built her career at Google and LinkedIn, gaining firsthand experience navigating the complexities of leadership, organizational dynamics, and the modern workplace. Today, through her firm, she has partnered with global organizations including Google, Visa, Nike, Meta, and Samsung to develop leaders, strengthen workforce effectiveness, and equip professionals to excel in their roles.
Her work is distinguished by an ability to translate complex leadership challenges into practical insights that people can apply. She believes that meaningful impact requires more than vision and influence. It demands sound judgment, intentional leadership, accountability, and faithful stewardship of the responsibilities entrusted to us.
Alongside her marketplace experience, Devika serves as Women’s Ministry Director and a board member at Activate Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Her work in ministry reflects a deep conviction that biblical truth should inform not only what we believe, but how we lead, make decisions, develop others, and approach our everyday responsibilities.
Her perspective is shaped as much by lived experience as professional accomplishment. From career success and unexpected setbacks to entrepreneurship and seasons of waiting, Devika has experienced the tension between pursuing opportunities and surrendering to God’s direction. These experiences inform her teaching on calling, identity, leadership, and remaining rooted in Christ through life’s changing seasons.

Devika is the author of Thrive in Color and is currently writing her second book, Unshaken. She resides in the Atlanta area with her husband, Greg.
